Master Bedroom Remodel - Part 1

We have decided to get rid of the carpet! We pulled it up and found out why the wood floors were not done when we bought the house; there is a 2 foot wide area down the side of the wall of plywood. So we are putting in more wood to match the 60 year old hardwood floors in the rest of our house, using reclaimed Red Oak Hardwood floors ( We're going "Green") Plus old wood will match much better than brand new wood. Of course we find out that the "Grade" of our wood is the highest quality; not to friendly on the wallet when it comes to adding more hardwood floors in. New Base Molding and Paint coming soon....
After pulling up the Carpet
Pulling up the Plywood; now we find that the sub-floor needs some repair work!!
Sub-floor repair done, starting to "lace-in" old with newer wood, so you don't see the difference.
Now time to piece in the reclaimed wood floor!
All the wood floor Installed! Now comes the sanding....Painting is coming along...Stay Tuned!!

What a nice surprise to find hard wood floors!! Can't wait to see the finished floors.
Great!... are these normal wood flooring or reclaimed wood flooring?.. We are having woof flooring in our home and we are consulting with reclaimed wood flooring experts in UK for our help... I am searching more on it... Thanks
