Breezeway/Sunroom Remodel in Progress

This past month we decided our next house project was going to be remodeling our breezeway/sunroom area. When we moved in the walls and ceiling were white and the floor was painted red. Not so pretty to say the least. We have already finished painting the room with a nice tan color on the walls and cottage white on the ceiling. Oh what fun that was, painting in all the little crevices. Brandon and I decided we were not going paint that room again unless it desperately needed it. We also added a new fan.

Then it was on to tackling the floor. We thought about what we wanted to do for a while. My Mom made the suggestion go use slate after she saw the fan and wall colors. Brandon started the slate while I was in Houston for a week and found out tiling is not as easy as it looks on tv. He has now laid all the big tiles and is about to start cutting tiles for the border. He thinks that is going to be even harder. Then we have to grout it and replace some of the small molding and the room will almost be done. Stay tuned to see the finished product!
