This weekend my college friends and I headed to good old Aggieland to spend some quality time together. We all had a great time catching up with each other and remembering the days we shared together as Aggies. We stayed at my Mom's Bed and Breakfast The Clary House and were treated like royalty. You could say my Mom is the hostess with the most-est. Every morning we woke up to a delicious breakfast of crepes and quiche. We spent some time shopping and eating at our favorite places in Aggieland. We also walked around campus to relive our college days and see what is new on campus. While we were on campus visiting Mandi and I both got parking tickets from the University Police for parking in the wrong lot. That is one thing we don't miss about Aggieland! Lots of laughter and good times were shared this weekend. Mandi and Jacki, I couldn't have asked for better friends, love you both!!!
First Stop: Texas A&M Disability Services Office
Mandi and I both got the opportunity to work for Donna an accommodations counselor at A&M. She is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met who truly inspired me while working for her. She is a lady who lets nothing stop her from achieving her dreams. She is the one who inspired me to teach special education students and will always hold a special place in my heart.
Second Stop: Walking Around Texas A&M University WHOOP!!
We all wanted to see the new Aggie ring they built in front of the Association of Former Students building. I was shocked at how big it was and what a true picture of the Aggie Ring it was. We had a fun photo shoot while there. There were many amazing quotes around the monument too which were fun to read and remember your days as Aggies.
Final Stop: Relaxation and Fun Times at the Clary House
We really enjoyed our time catching up and sharing stories here at the Clary House. What a great place for anyone to have a girls weekend. Great host, beautiful house, and a great location. Thanks Mom for having us. We will be back every summer for a girls weekend!
