Adventures in Sewing

This summer my wonderful husband bought me my first sewing machine! I decided to learn to sew, which my Mom was shocked about. A coworker of mine from school has been teaching me and we do a new project once a week.  We have had so much fun together making fleece blankets, aprons, pajama pants, and learning the basics to sewing.  She even taught me how to sew a button on, so maybe Brandon won't trade me in.  He said when we got married he was going to trade me in because I couldn't sew a button on.  Now I think he is impressed.   I still have lots to learn and many new patterns to try out. One of my patterns is a men's shirt but we can't find any manly fabric, anyone know where to get fabric for men's shirts?   Here are a few pictures of my first few projects.
