Fossil Rim Safari Trip
>> Monday, July 4, 2011
This weekend we decided to do something new and different. We have always wanted to go to Fossil Rim in Glen Rose to see what kind of safari experience it was. What a fabulous place with lots of great animals. The lady told us it would take two hours to drive through Fossil Rim, and we didn't believe her, but it took longer since there was so much to see. All kinds of animals and some would even come eat right out of your hand. Brandon and I both agree our favorite animal was the zebra. What a beautiful creature that God Created. Meredith's least favorite was the ostrich. Here are some pictures from our Safari Adventure.
Check this place out if you are ever in or near Glen Rose, TX.

Lots of hungry animals waiting for food from tourist. They sure didn't mind coming right up to your cars.

The Giraffes.
It's the attack of the Ostrich. Meredith thought she could feed it from her hand but when he came with an open beak she decided to feed it out of the bag but got scared and ended up throwing a lot of food in the new truck. Needless to say the truck got a car wash. Brandon thinks he could have fed this one, but we will see next time, Meredith is going to make it come to his side of the car.
