Our Flagstone Patio is Finished!!!

This weekend we finally finished our flagstone patio. We just had to add the finishing touches. One more layer of decomposed granite on top, edging, and grass is all it needed. I think this could be on HGTV, we love it! We love our new furniture as well and enjoy relaxing out on the patio with the smell of food grilling.

Flagstone Patio In Progress

Yesterday we started our newest house project, a new flagstone patio. My brother Mark had some flagstone he wasn't going to use so we loaded it up last weekend and brought it to our house so we could do a new patio. We had nothing before but grass and are so happy at the progress so far. It is very labor intensive work, especially with the Texas heat added in. We got a lot done between last night and today. We are hoping to finish laying the base of the patio tomorrow and start laying flagstone next weekend. Here are a few pictures of our work in progress.
